Subject: I made it....!!!!
I left Salisbury, NC at 5:00AM ET to catch a flight back to Los Angeles, CA as I had just spent the Christmas Holidays with family. They take me to the airport and off I go.

I hop planes in Atlanta, (plane #2) and fly directly to Los Angeles. From there, I take a Airport Shuttle van to my sister's house in Burbank, where I had been staying while working on a shoot just prior to my going to NC for the Holidays. Anyways, I pack for an overnight run to Portland for this show! I take a taxi to Burbank Airport and wait for the last leg to enjoy a great reuniting with the Cheese!!!!

Ummm... sorry, folks, mechanical difficulties! Damn.... delay! Tick...tock... tick.....tock....
30 minutes later, sorry, folks, mechanical difficulties, up to an hour delay!

Are you kidding? I left at 2:00AM PT from NC and am now looking at 4:00 turn into 5:00... and still a delay!

An hour or so later, "sorry folks, we are going to have to fly a plane in from Los Angeles to take you to Portland! Up to an hour more!"

Ughhh....I'm mentally exhausted, am I going to make it? Fifteen minutes later, they had found a plane at Burbank to take us.

tick..tock....tick...tock....

I check the watch, it is like 6:30...6:45...???? We take off... cocktails and relief, I am on my way...

Grab the first ride I see to take me to the show.... it is a Town Car...

We go... I pay.... I walk through the doors... get my ticket.... run into a sweetheart of a girl who gave me the greatest necklace I did never took off until the ocean and the salt water claimed its 'life".... rust! Anyways, grab a drink, head in and the first notes began what was a most incredible evening for this man who only had first seen them in Bozeman, MT 3/2/2000 and the John Anson shows in LA and was amazed at what an Incident could become! Loved it, won't forget it, but WOW, what a trip it was! Glad to have played!

Was a great evening... one personal ride, one taxi, a Town Car and three airplanes(ridden in) and a spare, I am glad to have made the journey.

Follow me to an Incident... it is worth the trip!

Could not agree more with "Beer Man." Still have the limited edition Batiks from these shows. Unforgettable time. Except: Jillian's voice is as smooth as a Cheese grater. Saw "Honkytonk Homeslice" once - is enough, if they're headlining. Jillian: go see a voice coach!

Subject: Why did they let her sing?
Another great Cheese recording! Too bad they had to ruin one of my favorite songs by having Liza and Jillian come up on stage and crap all over it. They sounded awful! Luckily they only stayed on stage for 1 song.

Gotta love any show that they bring the K-Whopper out!
